A Place

I got high last night. I didn't really want to but I had weed around and I couldn't get to sleep. Whatever I'm just making excuses

But I wrote this, and it's very hard to explain

I wrote the 2nd verse first, then the 3rd then added the first one.

The first part fo the first verse is about good memories when you weren't afraid of anything and were too young to know any better.
The second part is about that feeling of memories you sometimes get that feels a bit unwanted or uneasy. I guess memories of times when things were changing and you didn't want them to. Those four lines describe a lot of my relationships with friends I lost in one way or another.

The second verse is about mushrooms. It's about the feeling of simplicity I got contrasted to the complete extreme of what could go on and what was out there. It's about adventure. It's about other things too, but you can figure it out if you really want to.

The third verse is how I feel when I'm high. I get really lonely and I don't feel quite here


Edit: The last two lines are from a Bob Dylan song. Something about 'What have you seen my Blue Eyes son" or something. That song is hands down one of the best songs lyrically, though it really gets me down
